The Italian Company “Digital Multimedia Technologies” (DMT) is an enterprise which develops quickly and has a high technical and intellectual potential. At present it is a leading European supplier of products and services for the distribution of analog and digital terrestrial TV signals. In  2003 DMT had 45 MEURO of turnover.DMT is leading the broadcasting market with 70% of market share in Italy and 20% in Europe. As system integrator DMT supplies world  TV broadcasters and operators like  Mediaset, RAI, TMC, NTL, TDF, Teracom, Retevision, ABC and SBS. Quality parameters of transmitters manufactured by DMT can be compared with parameters of the best world leaders in this field: Harris, NEC, Rohde&Schwarz. Since 1 June  2003 STC “Cosmos” has become an exclusive distributor of DMT.

In the Russian market of TV equipment STC “Cosmos” represents new high quality products:  Italian TV transmitters manufactured by DMT. European quality at reasonable prices.

          Output power of transmitters and repeaters manufactured by DMT is from 1 W to 25 kW. A 5kW transmitter is available with common  audio and video channels amplification and separate amplification channels. The equipment meets the requirements of GOST 20532-83, GOST Р50890-96. There are 6 positions of amplification modules in the  racks ( B, C, D, E, F, G). There is a  liquid cooling  variant of amplification modules.
          In the development and production of DMT  transmitters and repeaters the following achievements of  modern solid-state technologies were used:

DMT transmitters can function in the analog broadcasting mode and digital mode of DVB-T standard.
          A distinguishing feature of DMT TV  transmitters is combined audio and video amplification. It allows to use them in the digital broadcasting mode substituting exciter with a digital modulator. DMT transmitters have unified exciters and broadband power amplifiers. 
         In case of necessity to organize TV broadcasting with high reliability the manufacturer of equipment offers different back-up variants with an automatic switch of transmitting antennas.
